Eagle flishts to El Alamo

In 45 days i will play a serie of challenge matches that, hopefully, will give me the required experience to search in the next July my first national tournament. Im pretty confident in my game, and i will try to finish unbeated the 5 challenges to continue as number #1 until the event begin. There will be some keys in each match that will define the winner.

vs Stubbs (his revenge): The first one, against the best player in USA right now. I have this very clear in my strategy: Billy will expect my cut/RW combo, so i must add more shots to keep his deffense weak (RWU probably?) what will rest power to his offense. I need improve my re-center mechanism in defense to avoid easy shots for his offensive. He will play full of motivation, so i need stop him at the begin of the match.

vs Weismann (My revenge); Tim remains until now the only american player who beated me in a challenge match. Another strong offensive that must be stoped, maybe charging a lot to disable his cut/cross combo. He have the weak defense between the top 4 players i will play, so i expect be able to score consistently. I will play very motivated this one, so a quick victory is my goal to avoid tiredness.

vs Hynes (THE MATCH): I expect this like the hardest one i will play this time. Even in the past, when i was able to beat Danny every time we played, was incredible hard to score on him. I saw the video of our set in the 2000 nationals and i scored a lot of LWUs and off-speeds (!!) what probes that i did not feel confortable with my offensive. Hopefully, i will be able to stop his offensive enough to keep me in the match. I can not play fast like him so i will play slow, with tons of offgoals to delay the game and get him out of rhythm.

vs Shoukry (Defense! Defense!): I expect a long match, with long games, so keep the concentration probably will be the key. I saw Ehab in the last nationals and he played a very strong defense, but looks beateable with my standard offensive. I feel i have a better attack than him, so keep my defense strong will be my goal. More tons of offgoals to move his defense looks very useful.

vs Castano (Nothing to win, many to loss): I never see him before, so at this moment i can not have an strategy against him, but he will play with Paulo some days earlier and i will have a chance to get some pieces of his game. Looks like the easiest one of my trip, but i will play hard to avoid upsets. I can not imagine how he will stop my standard offensive, so if i keep my deffense strong enough there will be not many problems.

In 1999 i won 5 matches (Hynes, Accrocco, Douty, Shoukry and Upchurch) and only lost 1 (Weissman) so if i want improve i need win all this time. Like a say some months ago, i hope you all are playing great... you will need it!
